Disco was becoming cool again plus big hair loud outragous rock bands to scare any old lady or our parents. We saw the invention of the Inteligent light being controlled by computers and the start of great sounding PA's.
British Pop took contol with Culture Club, Spandau Ballet and Transvision Vamp, Wham, The Pretenders, Blackbox, Dire Straits, Queen, Madness, Def Leppard or the Aussie Anthems we know today and not forgetting the one hit wonders.

DJ Magoo has a great passion for the 80's. With one of my favourite video shows is the Australian version with all bands that made Countdown, Sounds, Rock Arena.....
We supported the local live seen and many of our locals made it to the U.S.A. and beyond.
The U.S.A. was pumping out John Cougar Melencamp, Bruce Springsteen, Micheal Jackson, Toni Basil, Van Hallen, Billy Joel, Kiss, The Cars, Bryan Adams and Madonna.
